With fall coming around, we are looking for more excuses to spend time indoors baking (especially with pumpkin, cinnamon, and other fall flavors!). These easy homemade dog treats have only 4 ingredients and take about 20 minutes to pull together! PS – they make the perfect vehicle for Purfurred Pet CBD Drops!
Ingredients:
1 cup oats (+ more to flour your surface!)
1 T cinnamon
1/4 cup flax seed
1/4 cup + 2 T Pumpkin puree (make sure pumpkin is the only ingredient)
Instructions:
- Blend oats in food processor or blender into a flour
- Add other ingredients and blend until combined
- Flour your surface with more oat flour and roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thick (it doesn’t have to be precise!)
- Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 420 degrees for 15 min
CBD should not be heated (CBD content decreases when exposed to heat), so this treat can be used as a vehicle for Purfurred Pet CBD oil. Simply drop the serving size onto the treat, and wait 5 minutes for it to absorb!
